Testimonials
“Ayal models an embodied approach to education and human connections, bringing soul to mind and body, stretching our abilities to be more fully present and alive. He led a phenomenal Torah/circus workshop for the Lab/Shul staff. The techniques he employed included in depth text study and deep, heart opening exercises using our full bodies and full selves that left us inspired in our work with adults, kids and with our own artists and educators. Ayal is a master teacher, passionate and patient, an overall mensch who offers a unique, accessible and transformative approach to lifelong learning.”
— Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie (Lab-Shul)
"There have been startling moments of clarity and spirituality throughout the course as well as an invaluable bond between students that this type of learning has the ability to create.”
— Lily Lucey (Rabbinical student)
I've known Ayal Prouser for several years through his connection with the Academy for Jewish Religion, and he was the first person I thought of when I wanted to have a juggling workshop at my synagogue. He was professional and clearly enjoyed his teaching, and interacted beautifully with our participants ranging in age from 55-85+. While none of us are yet ready for prime time, we learned about juggling and circus arts, and most importantly, had fun.
